Devon Meadows Landcare Group formed from a shared community concern about rabbit populations and broader environmental protection across public and private land in Devon Meadows and surrounding areas, including Botanic Ridge, Junction Village, and the coastal villages of Cannons Creek, Warneet, and Blind Bight.

The group focuses on pest and weed control, habitat creation, and protecting waterways, while supporting conservation of Southern Brown Bandicoots and the internationally significant RAMSAR wetland at the top of Westernport Bay, an important site for migratory birds.

Devon Meadows Landcare promotes sustainable land management, biodiversity enhancement, and resilient land practices. Through practical projects and community engagement, the group connects residents, schools, and local agencies to strengthen ecosystems and foster local stewardship of the environment.
